Hankook Tire America Commercial Tire Kitting And Drop Shipping Project

Challenge
Hankook Tire America, one of the largest global tire and technology manufacturing companies, came to Blink with a unique challenge of creating and distributing custom tire inspection kits for their territory sales team. Each kit needed to have a custom manufactured zipper case to hold the
specialized inspection tools along with branded attire and items. Due to the complexity and custom nature of the project, Hankook turned to their longtime merchandise partner Blink to help.

Approach
The Hankook Account team at Blink began working immediately with our product development team to create the prototype zipper case and get it into production. While developing the custom case, the Blink team also curated a collection of safety vests, safety glasses, flashlights, tire crayons, cut resistant gloves, and multitools. Once we sourced all the necessary tools for the kits our shipping team then went to work on the custom packaging for the 100+ drop ships to the various Hankook employees stationed around the US and Canada.

Outcome
In under 30 days, the Blink team took what was a client’s wish and turned it into a reality. The Hankook Truck and Bus radial team can now head out into their territories equipped with the custom tools to best sell their product. While this is not a common “promotional product request” this project emulates the diverse project management and sourcing skills that the Blink Marketing team is accustomed to providing clients on a daily basis.
