Blink Marketing brings on Senior Quality Manager

Blink Marketing is excited to announce its recent hire of Kyle Earing, who will join the Blink team in the newly formed role of Senior Quality Manager. Kyle Earing joined the Blink Marketing team in August 2017, and will be responsible for maintaining supplier’s quality compliance for the assorted items sourced by the organization.

Kyle comes to Blink Marketing after spending nearly five years with Mars Petcare located in Franklin, TN. He held two roles associated with the management of supplies, policy compliance, and food safety. Kyle was also the project manager leading several key business initiatives including the implementation of the Mars Global Premia Standard. Kyle is a certified FSSC 22000 lead auditor and has conducted numerous audits covering a variety of categories across North America.

Prior to joining Mars, Kyle held two distinctly different roles during his five-year tenure at Land O’Lakes Purina Feed in Shoreview, MN. Kyle initially joined the feed industry to leverage his animal nutrition degree from Illinois State University as a formulation specialist managing the U.S. custom cattle business. In this role Kyle was responsible for developing cost effective nutritional products to address a variety of producer challenges. To continue his professional growth, he next accepted the opportunity to transition into the role of Packaging Buyer. Kyle was responsible for a $70MM portfolio consisting of primary and tertiary packaging items needed to maintain operation of 50+ production facilities. Under Kyle’s leadership the business was successfully transitioned to woven poly bags from multi-wall paper bags and updated all artwork files while effectively navigating the technology learning curve and minimizing packaging non-quality costs.

Outside of the office, Kyle and his wife Jennifer, along with their two children Adelyn (2 yrs) and Eli (5 months), enjoy tending to the needs of their small farm where they maintain a flock of show sheep and a couple of horses. You may be wondering about the sheep’s purpose? The lambs produced by Kyle’s flock are sold to local youth for summer projects, aimed at teaching key principles of animal husbandry and the establishment of essential life skills through their participation in the 4-H and FFA programs.
