Local small business, Blink Marketing Inc., was recognized recently by the Nashville Business Journal as thriving in our recessed times. The Small Business award is given from analysis of the past three years of growth and Blink came out on top!
“Blink Marketing is an example of the type of thriving small businesses that are flourishing in Middle Tennessee,” said Kate Herman, president and publisher of the Nashville Business Journal. “Small businesses are not just mom-and-pop stores and franchises. The best small businesses have the vision and drive to eventually become great big businesses.” Blink received the award in the 3-9 Employee category for its revenue growth of 162 percent. It also flourished with a staff increase of over 200 percent.
Hiring the right people and creating a motivational environment are the key explained Managing Partner Daniel Gardner. “Our steady growth over the past 10 years would not have happened without the help of a lot of outstanding people, namely our amazing staff and loyal clients.” The business is still seeking candidates to accommodate their unprecedented growth.
